Bench Warrant Issued For Rapper Beanie Sigel
Â A bench warrant was issued for rapper Beanie Sigel, after he failed to appear at a court date related to a marijuana possession charge yesterday (September 14) in New Jersey. State police stopped Beanie Sigel and three companions in August, as the rapper was heading to perform at Kelly’s Bar on Rexall Avenue around 12:45 am.
Sigel, born Dwight Grant, was arrested when police found him in possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.
The driver and another passenger, Karl Dargan, 24 and Justin Gaines, 25, were also charged with drug possession.
Judge Gregory McCloskey issued a bench warrant for Sigel after he missed a mandatory court appearance, according to The Burlington County Times.
