Lupe Fiasco's "Food & Liquor" Pushed Back

ImageLupe Fiasco's debut album, Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor, will not be released next month as scheduled, according to sources at Atlantic Records.

As previously reported, the album was slated for release on June 27 via 1st & 15th/Atlantic, despite it being leaked on the internet a month and a half ago.

According to a representative for the label, Lupe is back in the studio recording eight new songs while the album's release date has yet to be decided.

In related news, The Chicago MC is slated to join Rakim, Common and Rhymefest for Ecko's Save The Rhino Concert on June 8. Lupe will again share a stage with 'Fest as well as The Procussions and Big Daddy Kane for the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival on June 24.
