50 Cent's 'Self Destruct' Pushed Back, Rapper Adds Bonus DVD

The release date for 50 Cent's highly anticipated album Before I Self Destruct has been pushed back to early 2009. The album was initially slated for release in December but 50 claims that the album is far from complete.

Due to the delay, 50 will be offering the DVD movie which will be coming with album for free. A limited edition of the album will also include a second DVD, Two Turntables And A Microphone: The Life And Death Of Jam Master Jay Documentary.

The documentary focuses on Jam Master Jay's life and unsolved murder and features interviews from Reverend Run, Russell Simmons, Jay-Z and more.

"Times are hard," said 50 Cent. "Everyone is trying to make the most of what they have. I want to give my fans something extra for their hard earned dollars. They'll get a free bonus when they pick up the album."
