DMX Gets Real In Primetime, BET Announces New "106 & Park" hosts

ImageDMX and former University of Texas quarterback Vince Young will be the focus of two of five BET reality shows set to premiere this summer.

According to Daily Variety, the network unveiled its line up of new unscripted series' for the upcoming season during its presentation for advertisers in New York yesterday (April 25).

DMX's series, titled "DMX: Soul of a Man," will examine the troubled rapper's personal life while "Next Level: Vince Young" will follow the quarterback as he makes his transition to the NFL.

Other series which were revealed included a late-night romance anthology series, an entertainment newsmagazine and a retrospective on black gangsters. The network also introduced Rocsi and Terrence as the new hosts of its top-ten video countdown show "106th & Park."

In related news, X is currently prepping his sixth album Year of the Dog, Again which is slated for release this year. As previously reported, the Yonkers bred rapper signed with Sony Music earlier this year after severing ties with Def Jam Records.
