Kanye West’s Studio Burglarized, $20k Worth Of Computers Stolen
Kanye West’s creative studio was robbed of tens-of-thousands of dollars of computers and other valuable equipment earlier this week.
The rapper/producer’s Calabasas office was burglarized after an unknown crook pried open a door over night, and stole laptop and desktop computers, worth around $20,000, according to TMZ.
Sources stated the Kanye West has already replaced the missing gear, and that no sensitive data will leak, thanks to security measures put in place for such an occurrence.
Kanye has experienced being robbed of valuable computers with sensitive data in the past.
Someone infamously swiped a laptop from Yeezy in Paris, in March of 2015.
Kanye famously accused a cousin of stealing the missing laptop on “No More Parties In L.A.” with Kendrick Lamar.
The rapper also vented about his cousin’s alleged theft on the song “Real Friends,” on which he claims to have paid $250,000 to get the stolen laptop back.
Police are investigating the robbery, which they believe was committed by somebody close to Kanye West.
