Time's Up For Jay-Z and Rocawear

ImageAlways known for sporting exquisite watches, Jay-Z is combining his love for timepieces with his ever-growing empire. Rocawear recently entered a licensee agreement with watch designer Vestal Group Inc. to create a timepiece collection for both men and women which will be available in fall 2006.

"We are pleased to partner with the Vestal Group as they are uniquely positioned to provide the cutting edge design consistent with the Rocawear brand," said Jay-Z via a statement. "I feel strongly that the taste level and loyalty of our customer is to be respected and our timepiece collection will appeal to their fashion sense while also giving them a true classic timepiece to be worn for many years to come."

Both the men's and women's collection will boast a sports line and a more upscale collection. Prices will range from $95 - $395.

"The Vestal Group is thrilled to be working with Rocawear on the new collection of watches for men and women," added The Vestal Group President of Licensing Rudy Theale. "Vestal Group in conjunction with Rocawear now has the opportunity to create the blueprint for a classic timepiece and bring an innovative collection to the consumers and the retail market."

The Rocawear timepiece collection will launch at the 2006 Las Vegas Magic Convention which began today and will end on Friday 24.

This doesn't mark the first time that Hov has partnered with a watch company. To commemorate Rocawear's 10-year anniversary, Jay partnered with Swiss watchmaker Audemars Piguet and launched a line of limited edition watches.
