Trina Jumps On YouTube Dance Craze, Asks Fans For Best "Single Again" Stories

For the promotion of her new album, Miami rap diva Trina is hosting a new online contest via YouTube.

In association with her upcoming CD, Still The Baddest, which features the lead single "Single Again," Trina is sponsoring a contest for her fans on YouTube. Fans are encouraged to log onto the rapper's Myspace page or the Myspace page of her recording home, Slip-N-Slide, and create their own videos of their best dance performances or "single again" stories. Fans can then post those videos on YouTube and send the link here.

Two winners, one from each category, will be chosen by the fans and selected to appear in the video for "Single Again," which will be shot in Miami. The two contestants selected will also win the opportunity to accompany the rapper as she goes on her promotional tour in New York.

Still The Baddest, which is set to hit shelves on February 12, 2008, will feature guest spots from Missy Elliott, Pitbull, Plies and Rick Ross among others. The disc will also feature production from Scott Storch and Jim Jonsin.

In related news, Trina recently checked in to clear up a few rumors. In the exclusive interview, Trina set the record straight about her relationship with long time friend Missy Elliott, which has long been rumored to be a romantic one.

"When I heard the rumors that we were more than friends, at first I was like 'that's the ignorant minds of some people,'" she said. "But people are going to say whatever, regardless. She is just my friend, that's it. It's never been a more than just friends."

Another person that Trina seems to be still cool these days is Lil' Wayne. After being linked to the Cash Money rapper in the past, the two are not an item currently but are still on good terms.

"He's a great person, he's a great guy," Trina said before adding that Weezy is "definitely" a friend.

Trina's Still The Baddest hits stores on February 12, 2008 on Slip-N-Slide Records.
