Kanye West Kicks Off World Tour
The Chi-Town star will begin in Nashville, with dates to follow in Vancouver, Winnipeg, Philadelphia, Boston and Miami - plus a trip to Dubai in between - before heading to Europe in November.
The tour wraps in Ireland on December 1.
Graduation, West's third album, debuted at No. 1 on the charts with first-week sales of 957,000, the biggest debut of any release since 50 Cent's Massacre opened with 1.1 million sales in its first week.
The album also enjoyed record-breaking digital sales of 132,000 albums downloaded.
In a heavily publicized sales battle, West easily trounced G-Unit boss 50 Cent, whose Curtis sold 691,000 its first week out despite the fact that 50 bet his career on outselling West.
Graduation features guest appearances from T-Pain, Lil Wayne, and Young Jeezy, along with a track entitled "Big Brother" dedicated to Jay-Z.
