Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky & Chance The Rapper To Appear On “Divergent” Soundtrack

Some of the young stars of rap music will be apart of the soundtrack for the young adult sci-fi film Divergent. The collection will feature several collaborations that include contributions from Kendrick Lamar, A$AP Rocky, and Chance The Rapper.

K. Dot will team with Tame Impala for an interpretation of the Australian rock group’s “Feels Like We Only Go Backwards.” The new version featuring vocals from Kendrick is called “Backwards.”

A$AP Rocky connected with French DJ Gesaffelstein who previously worked with Kanye West for “Black Skinhead” and “Send It Up” off Yeezus. Chance The Rapper is set to partner with 17-year-old singer-songwriter Pia Mia.

The Divergent soundtrack is scheduled for release March 11. The movie is set to hit theaters on March 21.
