Ludacris Rocks Out With Guy Ritchie In New Action Flick

ImageLudacris has reportedly been cast in Guy Ricthie's latest crime caper titled RocknRolla.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the flick will also star Gerard Butler (300), Tom Wilkinson (The Exorcism Of Emily Rose) and Thandie Newton (Norbit), with directorial duties handled by Ritchie.

RocknRolla, centers around London's criminal underworld and a shady land deal that puts millions of dollars up for grabs. Luda tackles the role of an American artist trying to break into the U.K. music scene.

Ritchie, who is married to Madonna, began filming the movie in London last week. This is not the first time Ritchie, who is best known for the cult favorites Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, cast an Atlanta rapper in one of his movies. Andre 3000 starred in the crime drama Revolver, which has yet to be released stateside.

In related news, Luda is scheduled to appear at the BET Awards, which will air live from Los Angles tonight (June 26) at 8 p.m. The Atlanta based rapper is nominated for "Best Hip Hop Artist" and "Best Collaboration."

While in L.A. for the affair, Luda's manager Chaka Zulu was involved in a brawl with the rapper's former foe, T.I. The unexpected altercation took place at a brunch hosted by Warner Music Group executive Kevin Liles at the Sunset Tower Hotel on Sunday (June 24).

Zulu released a statement yesterday (June 25) claiming the issue between he and T.I. have since been resolved. Luda, who was in the room when the fight broke out, was not involved in the brawl.
