Rewind That, Dipset Member 40 Cal Recruits Jim Jones & Akon For New CD

"Fight Klub" veteran 40 Cal is dropping an album, Broken Safety 2 this May on Babygrande Records.

Broken Safety 2 finds the Harlem emcee 40 Cal in good company, with fellow Dipset compadres Cam'ron, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, J.R. Writer and Hell Rell making cameos on the project. Akon also makes an appearance on the set.

"The motto this year is I do it, I did it and I do it again," 40 Cal said via statement.

Confident for good reason, Diplomats member 40 Cal has amassed a following thanks to several impressive verbal scraps on MTV's "Fight Klub," as well as his appearances on Dipset releases Diplomatic Immunity II, More than Music Vol. 1 and The Movement Moves On. With his own mixtape sales estimated at 50,000 plus, 40 Cal is betting that listeners will tune in to hear why he's been called "Mr. Rewind That."

Broken Safety 2 is the follow-up to 40 Cal's 2006 release Broken Safety. 40's Current single "Stick Em" features Cam'ron and J.R. Writer.

"This brand is here and it ain't goin' nowhere" 40 Cal said of Dipset's hold on hip-hop. "Diplomats is more than a label, we like blood."

Broken Safety 2 lands in stores on May 22.
