Don't Call It A Comeback, Beastie Boys Prep New Album, Summer Tour

After a three-year layoff from their last record, legendary hip-hop group the Beastie Boys will release their latest studio album sometime this summer.

According to Billboard, the group will be completing the as-yet untitled follow-up disc to 2004's To The 5 Boroughs in the near future.

"Hopefully that'll be out this summer" said group member Adam Yauch. The trio will be hitting the road in the warmer months where, according to Yauch, the group will give fans their first taste of some of the new material. The Beasties will be playing a handful of festivals, including a headlining slot at the Sasquatch Festival, which is scheduled to be held from May 26-27 at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Wash.

The group will also be heading over seas to play several dates in Europe, including a headliner in Paris on June 26.
