Ne-Yo, Sway Calloway To Surprise Students In Seattle

R&B star Ne-Yo and Hip-Hop personality Sway Calloway will surprise over 500 Seattle middle school students tomorrow (January 18), in Seattle, Washington.

Ne-Yo will serve as principle of the day at Aki Kurose Middle School Academy, where he will also co-teach math classes.

Sway, who hosts the hit morning show “Sway in the Morning” on Eminem’s Shade 45 station on Sirius, will preside over an assembly and concert featuring Ne-Yo.

The students of Aki Kurose Middle School Academy are being rewarded for winning the Get Schooled Foundation’s National Fall 2011 Attendance Challenge.

The nationwide endeavor challenged 80,000 students in 73 schools, from 17 states, to improve their attendance levels.

In addition to Ne-Yo, who stars in George Lucas’ big budget flick “Red Tails,” a real Tuskegee Airman will speak to the students.

Tuskegee Airman, Lt. Colonel Ed Drummond will be on hand to encourage the students to strive for excellence.

“Red Tails” is in theaters on January 20.
