Jedi Mind Tricks Prep Seventh Album 'Violence Begets Violence'

Philadelphia Hip-Hop group Jedi Mind Tricks has announced that they will release their seventh studio album this October.

The group, which consists of rappers Vinnie Paz, Jus Allah and producer Stoupe, is planning to release Violence Begets Violence through Paz' independent label, Enemy Soil.

The album is a significant entry into Jedi Mind Tricks' larger body of work, because it's the first time the group has handed over production to producers outside of their camp.

Longtime Jedi Mind Tricks producer Stoupe made way for a variety of upcoming producers, who crafted the sound for Violence Begets Violence.

Since their debut release The Pshycho-social in 1996, Jedi Mind Tricks has developed a loyal following and moved over 400,000 records in the process.

The group has worked with a number of artists, including Clipse, Beanie Sigel, Paul Wall, Mr. Lif, Tragedy Khadafi, Bahamadia and others.

Jedi Mind Tricks' new album Violence Begets Violence is due in stores on October 25th.

The first single from the album is titled “Target Practice.”
