Drake Forced To Cancel Concert After Uncle's Death

Toronto, Canada rapper Drake has been forced to cancel a concert tomorrow (July 16th), after learning that his uncle has died.

Drake was supposed to perform at Universal Studios Summer Concert series, that was supposed to take place tomorrow in Orlando, Florida.

"We regret to announce that Drake will not be able to take the stage at Universal Orlando Resort due to a death in the family," a rep for Drake said in a statement released today. "He hopes that his fans understand the situation he finds himself in and know that he fully intends to return to the area in the future. He thanks Universal Orlando Resort and his fans for their continued support."

The death of Drake's uncle marks the second time a Young Money Records artist has lost a family member, in less than a month.

On July 4th, Nicki Minaj's cousin Nicholas Telemaque was gunned down in Brooklyn, New York.

Police are still seeking suspects in his death.
