Diddy, Celebrity Friends Bring In New Years With Nationwide Party
Sean "Diddy" Combs' vodka company Ciroc will ring in the New Year with five different celebrations being held across the country to ring in 2011.
Diddy will host a party in Las Vegas, Kourtney Kardashian will host in Miami, Pete Wentz will hold down Chicago, Taryn Manning will host in Vail, Colorado, while a surprise celebrity guest will preside over a party in New York.
"New Year's Eve isn't just another celebratory night, it sets the standard for an entire year to come," said Combs, who entered into a strategic marketing alliance with the spirits brand three years ago. "As the 'Official Vodka of New Year's Eve,' it's important to me that we not only give our loyal consumers an unforgettable experience that they can only get from me and CIROC, but we also want to ensure that we remind everyone who plans to ring in the new year to do so responsibly."
Diddy has partnered with E! Entertainment to launch the "Ciroc the New Year" contest, which will allow five lucky grand prize winners to ring in the New Years at one of the five parties Diddy is hosting with Ciroc.
Each winner will receive VIP accommodations, round-trip airfare to the city nearest to the winners home, spending money, and the official Ciroc/E! Entertainment New Year's Eve Correspondent.
Six first-place winners will receive the "Ultimate Ciroc At Home New Year's Eve Celebration Kit," which comes complete with a personal consultation from an event planner and money towards a "Ciroc" New Year's Eve party.
To enter the contest, adults must submit a video that incorporates the phrase "Ciroc the New Year" and explains why he/she should the official New Year's Eve correspondent for Ciroc/E! Entertainment.
Sean "Diddy" Combs owns 50% of Ciroc, along with partner/spirits maker Diageo Inc.
