Lil Wayne Stays Sober, Preps New Track

Lil Wayne recently finished a new track that is scheduled to be released any day, according to Young Money affiliate DJ Scoob Doo.

"Nino Brown aka @ liltunechi Got His First Song Since Rikers Coming To Yall Soon," DJ Scoob tweeted yesterday (November 14). "Just Think A 2010 Version Of A Milli, But On Steroids."

According to a tweet DJ Scoob Doo, the terms of Lil Wayne's probation are not effecting the rapper's ability to record.

According to the terms of his probation for gun/drug charges in Yuma, Arizona, Lil Wayne must refrain from using any drug or drinking any liquor over the next three years, or risk going to jail.

Cash Money's CEO Ronald "Slim" Williams said that the rapper would not make any mistakes while on probation and that his entire team was on the same page.

“He’s straight. He’s very smart. He knows what he’s got to do and what he don’t have to do. He’s not going to make the same mistakes. And he’s got great people around him, family and friends. We’re going to all make sure. We’re all on the same page," Ronald "Slim" Williams told the Times-Picayune.  “We’re going to represent New Orleans the way it’s supposed to be. Music, we got that. We’re going to represent it well.”

In the coming weeks, Lil Wayne is expected to head to New Orleans to participate in Cash Money's annual turkey giveaway.

Just as Slim stated, Lil Wayne's sticking with sobriety according to DJ Scoob Doo, who was with Lil Wayne last week during a 15-hour session in the recording studio.

"Carter Back Open For Business In A Drug Free School Zone!," DJ Scoob Doo tweeted.
