50 Cent Denies Capitol Records Signing, Explains Diddy Beef
Last week, when Capitol Records' Craig Davis said 50 Cent and G-Unit had found a new home at his label, it came as a surprise to some--apparently including 50 himself.
"He's a idiot, and there's no deal done," 50 said in response to Davis' statement that he had signed G-Unit to Capitol. "Out of nowhere he comes out, and you can tell he's drunk or some shit." In addition to still being signed to Interscope, 50 added he wouldn't be opposed to resigning with the label, adding, "All the success I've had has been with Interscope."
Meanwhile, 50 fired a few shots at his new labelmate, Diddy. After laughing at his BET Awards performance, 50 addressed the perceived beef between himself and Diddy by saying the following:
"Puffy is like a bitch. He always wants to be the hot bitch in the group. He wants to make sure he gets all the attention. I don't know who he was talking about, because he didn't say my name. We used to kick it and talk on the phone even after the Mase shit."
