Diddy Aims To Inspire With New Movies; Albums and Business Ventures
Rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs made a high profile appearance on New York’s long running show, Good Morning America, today (June 4th).
Diddy and Dirty Money performed “Hello Good Morning” and a medley of other tracks during the show.
Combs simultaneously promoted his new movie Get Him to the Greek, which opens in theaters today.
The film, which was shot on a budget of $40 million dollars, stars Diddy as “Sergio Rome,” the owner of Pinnacle Entertainment.
He hires a young aspiring music executive played by Jonah Hill (Superbad, Knocked Up) to bring fictional English rocker Aldous Snow from London (Russell Brand) to Los Angeles’ Greek Theater for the start of a $100 million dollar comeback concert.
Get Him to the Greek will launch on 2,695 theaters and is expected to earn between $15-20 million dollars over the weekend.
During the recent launch of his Diddybeats headphone collection, Combs explained what motivated him to stay so busy.
“I want to make people dance, entertain people. Also just inspire people,” Combs said. “No matter what THEY say about me, my motivation is to inspire YOU. If I can do it, you can do it.”
