Ludacris Heads To Cable, Lands Development Deal

ImageLudacris recently announced a development deal with The N network to executive produce their newest series, "Halls Of Fame."

As part if their agreement, Luda (born Chris Bridges) will also write and perform original music for each episode and have a recurring role.

"Halls Of Fame" will revolve around two sisters, 21-year-old singing phenomena Starla and 15- year-old aspiring fashion designer Taylor, who have to adjust to being in a new town and attending a competitive performing arts high school.

"The N has long been at the forefront of television programming for the teen audience," said Ludacris via a statement. "Their shows are insightful and smart and I'm happy to be joining with the network to create good programming for my teenaged fans. "Halls of Fame" promises to be a realistic journey into how young people can get started in the entertainment business."

In related news, Luda recently signed on to play an elf in Fred Claus, a Christmas comedy starring Vince Vaughn. The flick centers around Santa's less accomplished brother, played by Vaughn, and how he almost ruins Christmas.

Fred Claus is slated to open nationwide late next year.
