LL Named To Red Cross' Celebrity Cabinet

LL Cool J has been named to The American Red Cross’ National Celebrity Cabinet to promote the services of the international non-profit organization.

The rapper will join seven other celebrities who have volunteered their time and effort in responding to disasters and other emergencies.

To kick off the partnership, LL Cool J recorded a series of PSA’s to help raise funds for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti.

"The American Red Cross runs on the valuable service of volunteers to fulfill our mission, and we are grateful that these celebrities are setting an example by volunteering their time and talents to help raise awareness of our work in responding to disasters, providing blood, helping military members and their families and promoting preparedness through first aid or CPR classes," stated Gail McGovern, President and CEO of American Red Cross.

Other celebrities joining LL Cool J in the effort include Penn Badgley (Gossip Girl), Giselle Blondet, Josh Duhamel (Transformers), Wynonna Judd, Reba McEntire, Alyssa Milano and David Spade.
