Pitbull Honors Cuban Roots On "El Mariel," Collaborates With Wyclef

Pitbull is scheduled to release his sophomore album, El Mariel on October 31st.

The album borrows its title from the Cuban boatlift that transported roughly 125,000 Cubanos to Florida. The Cuban rapper presently has two singles spinning, the "Bojangles" remix featuring Ying Yang Twins and Lil Jon and "Aye, Chico." In addition to Ying and Jon, the album also features guest spots by Wyclef Jean among others.

To date, Pitbull has released 2004's M.I.A.M.I (Money Is A Major Issue) and a remixed version, Money Is Still A Major Issue the following year.

Pitbull's El Mariel is set to drop October 31st on Diaz Bros/TVT Records.
