The Game Searches For Video Girls & Rappers For New Project

ImageIn conjunction with his upcoming release The Doctor's Advocate, West Coast rapper The Game is teaming with Bix.com to recruit help finding eye candy for his next video and talent for his next mixtape.

The Game's partnership with Bix (the first user generated competition system that allows anyone to create, enter or judge talent) will launch two open casting calls on their website offering a pair of lucky individuals the opportunity to show the hip-hop industry what they're made of. The Game's "Video Girl" contest will land an aspiring dancer in his next video; his "Freestyle Battle" will result in a guest appearance on an upcoming mixtape.

"At casting calls, you know you're not seeing all of the talent that's really out there," The Game said via statement. "These contests on Bix open it up to anyone looking to show off their skills and a chance to make it on my video or mixtape. I can't wait to see what people can do."

The "Video Girl Contest" requires entrants to submit a video of an original dance performance to one of five Bix "booty shaker" beats, created exclusively for Bix by The Game's official DJ, DJ Skee. Game's "Video Girl" competition is open until December 1, 2006, when the top five contestants will be determined based on votes by the Bix community. The Game will select a winner from these five finalists no later than December 10, 2006 and his choice performer will be featured in his next video.

For rap hopefuls, The Game's "Freestyle Battle" asks that they submit a video of their best 16-bar freestyle performance before January 1, 2007. On New Year's Day the top five contestants based on Bix community votes will progress to the finals. This time The Game will pick the winning performance from among the five finalists no later than January 8, 2007 and that winner will be featured on his next mixtape.

"We are thrilled to be working with The Game, one of the top artists in hip-hop, who believes that everyone deserves a chance at fame," Mike Speiser, co-founder and CEO of Bix said via statement.

Both the "Video Girl" and "Freestyle Battle" competition are free to enter.
