Gucci Mane Projected To Sell 85-90K In First Week

According to sales projections, Gucci Mane is speculated lead the rap releases on the Billboard 200 charts next week even though the rapper is presently incarcerated.

Music industry insiders estimate that The State Vs. Radric Davis, the Atlanta rap star’s new album, will move around 85,000 to 90,000 units in its first week in stores.

The album, Gucci’s first major label release, features big names in the industry such as Usher, Keyshia Cole, Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy and Rick Ross.

Gucci, currently under Warner Brothers is expected to only be outsold by Chris Brown’s new album, Graffiti, expected to sell between 120,000 to 130,000 copies.

The official Nielsen SoundScan sales figures will be released next week.
